Commercial HVAC Technician

📋 Description

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems: rooftops, boilers, chillers, heat pumps.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections for optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC equipment.
• Replace or repair motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
• Communicate service findings and recommendations with clients and team.
• Maintain accurate service records: work, parts, and conditions.
• Ensure safety standards, building codes, and company policies are followed.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification preferred.
• 4+ years as HVAC Service Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
• EPA 608 certification (required).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
• NATE certification or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience with commercial HVAC systems and equipment (preferred).
• Familiarity with digital service tools and mobile work order platforms (preferred).
