Commercial HVAC Service Technician

📋 Description

• Diagnose and resolve issues across HVAC equipment, including rooftop units and boilers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to maximize performance and extend life.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
• Repair or replace motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer docs.
• Communicate findings and next steps with clients and teammates.
• Maintain thorough records of work, parts, and system status.
• Work safely per applicable standards and codes.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; tech school training or HVAC cert is a plus.
• 4+ years of hands-on HVAC service experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
• EPA 608 certification (required).
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and methodical problem solving.
• Strong interpersonal and customer-facing communication.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• NATE certification or equivalent credential.
• Experience with commercial HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with digital service platforms and mobile work orders.
