Commercial HVAC Service Technician

📋 Description

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, incl rooftop units and boilers.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Replace motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Communicate findings clearly with clients and team.
• Maintain service records: workmanship, parts, and conditions.
• Ensure safety standards and building codes compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification preferred.
• 4+ years of HVAC service experience.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical and mechanical components.
• EPA 608 certification (required).
• Read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
