Commercial Counsel

📋 Description

• Own and manage contracting cycles incl. services and commercial agreements.
• Create contracting playbooks, policies, and escalation frameworks.
• Design AI-assisted legal workflows and templates; train the team.
• Help build a best-in-class in-house legal function.
• Monitor new laws/regulations affecting commercial business.
• Close strategic deals; find pragmatic solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5+ years at top law firm and in-house, commercial/corp focus.
• Fintech/consumer lending or proptech experience a plus.
• Experience using AI tools for legal tasks and AI workflow design.
• JD from an accredited law school; active US state bar.
• Hybrid role; NYC/SF/Salt Lake City offices preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional collaboration.
