Analyst, Security Compliance at Coinbase

Coinbase is seeking an Analyst, Security Compliance to support our security program and ensure regulatory compliance across product offerings. This remote role based in the USA will collaborate with Legal, Security, and Engineering teams to implement and monitor controls that protect customers and data.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and testing of security controls across processing systems.
• Help track regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable controls and evidence.
• Support internal and external audits, including evidence collection and remediation tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance during product development and release cycles.
• Maintain documentation of controls, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in risk assessments and third-party vendor oversight.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in security, compliance, risk, or audit.
• Knowledge of security and privacy frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR, and CCPA is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to explain complex controls to non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud security, identity and access management, or incident response is a plus.
