About Cobalt

Cobalt is a security company delivering pentest-as-a-service to help enterprises identify and remediate vulnerabilities across web, mobile, and cloud environments. We are seeking an Enterprise Account Director to lead strategic enterprise accounts in the U.S. You will own the end-to-end sales cycle, develop account plans, build executive relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to position Cobalt’s pentest platform as a strategic security control. You will forecast and achieve revenue targets, manage multi-stakeholder negotiations, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Role overview

As the Enterprise Account Director, you will drive revenue and growth within top-tier enterprise accounts across the United States. You will work closely with sales engineering, product, and customer success teams to align Cobalt’s offerings with customer security needs, influence product direction, and ensure long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for enterprise customers in the U.S.
  • Own the full sales cycle from discovery through close, including negotiation and renewal discussions.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with CIOs, CSOs, Security leaders, IT, and Procurement.
  • Coordinate with Sales Engineers and Solutions Architects to articulate value and technical fit.
  • Forecast accurately, manage pipeline, and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure customer success and long-term retention.
  • Represent customer needs to product and marketing teams to inform roadmap and messaging.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of enterprise software sales or security services sales experience.
  • Proven track record closing multi-million ARR with enterprise accounts.
  • Strong network within cybersecurity or software security domains.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and a data-driven approach to forecasting.
  • Ability to travel as needed; comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree a plus.

  • Background in pentesting, cybersecurity services, or related security technologies.
