COB Verification Specialist

📋 Description

• Initiate recovery by contacting payers/providers about overpaid claims.
• Outreach to providers to explain overpayments and resolve disputes.
• Maintain detailed records of recovery activities in Oscar's systems.
• Support leadership to scope, size, and prioritize items.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ year in health insurance claims, claims recovery, or related field.
• Proficient with Google Sheets and/or Excel.
• Familiarity with healthcare claims processing, medical billing, and insurance regs.
• 1+ year analytics or operations experience.
• Knowledge of provider contract terms and payment methodologies.
