Software Engineer - AI Solutions

Coactive makes it easy to search, filter, and analyze visual content. Increasingly image and video data captures the content we watch, the products we buy, and the work we do, and already represents 80% of internet traffic. But rather than being an asset, visual content is often a tax or even a liability because it is so hard to work with and understand. As a Software Engineer focused on AI solutions, you will be one of the founding members of the Solutions team and will be a key technical contributor bridging sales, customer success, product and engineering. Your primary goal is to ensure the success of prospects and customers by delivering AI-focused technical solutions with clear business value. You’ll collaborate closely across multiple teams, serving as the AI expert for the Go-To-Market team while becoming an expert and champion of the Coactive platform.

What you’ll do:

• Be an expert and evangelist of the Coactive product
• BS (or higher) in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of production-level experience in Python and SQL
• Experience with modern AI frameworks and technologies, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, MLflow, Spark and Ray
• Experience in rapid prototyping and delivery of modern AI solutions, such as leveraging open-source models, API-based services, and other collaborative cloud tools (e.g., Databricks, Colab, Sagemaker, etc) 
• 2+ Experience in customer facing technical roles is preferred (can include roles such sales engineering, solutions engineering, DS/ML consulting, etc)
• Ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to navigate towards solutions that deliver success to customers
• Ability to effectively communicate and guide technical and executive audiences, whether in demos, sales calls or in-person customer visits
• Ability to provide technical mentorship to other technical and non-technical team members, such as sales engineers, solutions engineer and/or account executives
• Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus
• Previous experience in ML/AI focused roles is a plus (e.g. ML engineer)
• Previous experience applying ML to multimodal and/or visual data is a plus

What we look for:

• BS (or higher) in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent professional experience
