CNC Programmer (Starship Components) - Level 4/5

📋 Description

• Use Esprit CAM to program, generate G-Code for Okuma mill-turns and mills.
• Create and refine tooling & process setup sheets for new parts.
• Set up and prove out programs on Okuma mill-turns; troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
• Develop CAM database; analyze data to improve repeatability.
• Review quality concerns; perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering to optimize DFM; implement drawing changes; mentor junior programmers.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; 5+ years CNC machining; 2+ years CNC programming.
• Esprit CAM experience; G-code generation for CNC.
• Strong geometry/trigonometry for complex geometries.
• Experience reading blueprints and applying GD&T with high accuracy.
• Okuma OSP controls; multi-axis programming (4- and 5-axis).
