CMM Source Inspector (Travel) – Chicago

📋 Description

• Travel up to 75% to inspect parts and assemblies at supplier sites
• Select and utilize standard gauges to ensure quality
• Inspect feature tolerances with the required accuracy
• Perform complex inspections on purchased parts and assemblies
• Review documentation and verify certifications and conformance
• Inspect flight hardware per drawings, PO specs, and SpaceX standards

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 3+ years precision mechanical inspection experience
• 3+ years CMM programming/operations or Faro Arm exp
• Aerospace precision inspection experience (preferred)
• PC-DMIS CMM programming experience (preferred)
• Romer Arm experience with Verisurf software (preferred)
