📋 Description

• NAVIGATE vet records to determine claim eligibility and coverage
• COMMUNICATE coverage determinations in plain language
• DOCUMENT claim files with medical records and policy provisions
• PRIORITIZE daily workload to resolve claims quickly and accurately
• REQUEST missing information from customers or clinics in a timely manner
• PARTNER with CLX teammates to ensure clear customer interactions

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of small animal vet tech experience; ER or specialty preferred
• 1+ year in CLX Specialist role (internal candidates only)
• Pet claim handling or pet insurance exp; P&C licensure preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain P&C licensure
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills
• Strong written and verbal communication; clear policy explanations
• Genuine care for animals and people
• Comfort with new tech, including AI tools
• College degree
• Ability to work in a remote environment
