RevOps Data Engineer (Revenue Engineer)

Location: Bogotá, Colombia — Hybrid (Office Mon/Wed/Fri. Remote Tue/Thu.)

Compensation: 10,000,000 COP per month + 20% quarterly performance bonus
Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer

Role Summary

You build the revenue engine. You ship forecasts and pricing tools. You connect APIs. You push price changes live.

You turn data into choices the team can use today. Doers thrive here.

Responsibilities (Outcomes)

• Hold monthly revenue forecasts within ±3%
• Ship 1+ useful automation each month
• Cut manual reporting time by 50%+ in 90 days
• Launch 1 pricing or go-to-market model each quarter that lifts revenue
• Join data from Guesty, HubSpot, Stripe, and our warehouse
• Keep data flows up 99.9% with alerts and fast fixes
• Find margin wins of 20%+ by property or segment
• Post daily targets vs. actuals to BI and ClickUp with clear owners
• Add guardrails and rollback to every price change
• Teach Sales, Marketing, and Ops how to use your numbers in real time

Results (Scoreboard)

• Forecast variance is ≤5% by Day 30 and ≤3% by Day 90
3+ automations run in production by Day 90
• Hours saved and decisions made show in usage tracking
• Segment gross margin grows 20%+ within two quarters
• Pipelines stay stable at 99.9% with no silent fails
• The CRO gets a sharp one-page brief before each key call

Requirements

Must have

3–6 years in RevOps, FP&A, analytics, or data engineering
SQL and Python that run in production
API work with tools like HubSpot, Guesty, Stripe, QuickBooks, or Netsuite
• A record of shipped automations (cron, Airflow, n8n, or similar)
• Clear writing. One page that helps a leader choose

Nice to have

• n8n, JavaScript/TypeScript, Power BI/DAX, dbt, Docker/CI
• Hotel metrics like occupancy, rate (ADR), and revenue per room
• Tests, docs, and usage tracking for data work
