- Own and improve AWS security posture across accounts, regions, and services (IAM, SCPs, VPC).
- Review IaC modules and encode security defaults; add automated security checks to pipelines.
- Own cloud telemetry: CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config, VPC Flow Logs, S3 logging.
- Develop detection logic for cloud threats; partner with SOC on alerts and runbooks.
- Govern secrets with AWS Secrets Manager and SSM; manage KMS key policies and rotation.
- Drive remediation of findings from Inspector, Security Hub, and CSPM tooling.
🎯 Requirements
- 4+ years in cloud security, cloud engineering, or security infra
- Hands-on AWS security services: IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub
- IaC experience: Pulumi, Terraform, or CDK
- Strong AWS networking knowledge and misconfig risk
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or Go
- Ability to communicate security risks to engineers
