Cloud Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Own cloud security policies, standards, and secure-by-design architectures.
• Define cloud security posture requirements and remediation workflows.
• Establish secure cloud patterns for IAM, network, secrets, and encryption.
• Ensure logging and monitoring enable protective monitoring and incident response.
• Partner with Cloud Ops to embed guardrails and policy-as-code at scale.
• Act as cloud security SME for incidents and high-risk findings.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’ cloud industry experience with at least 5 years in cloud security / cyber engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience securing cloud environments using native security controls (IAM, networking, logging, encryption).
• Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and remediation of cloud misconfigurations.
• Experience working with Cloud Operations to implement security standards via change and delivery processes.
• Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Security Specialty, CCSP, or equivalent).
• Direct experience with shared responsibility models and secure cloud architecture patterns.
