Cloud FinOps Analyst

📋 Description

• GenAI Cost Modeling: Build and manage cost models tracking spend across OpenAI and Anthropic, by app, tokens, and model types.
• Snowflake Resource Management: Audit Snowflake usage to optimize warehouses, auto-suspend, and storage lifecycles.
• AWS Cost Optimization: Monitor AWS consumption; propose rightsizing and Savings Plans/RI.
• Anomaly Detection: Build real-time alerts to identify spending spikes.
• Tagging & Policy Enforcement: Develop cloud governance and tagging policies for expense allocation.
• Reporting & Dashboards: Create financial reports and dashboards using QuickSight to communicate trends.

🎯 Requirements

• 6–7 years of experience in cloud financial mgmt, systems analysis, or engineering ops.
• Snowflake credits and LLM pricing metrics (tokens, context windows).
• AWS core services, pricing models, and native cost tools.
• SQL and Python for raw cloud billing data and API logs.
• QuickSight or similar BI tools for technical dashboards.
• FinOps principles applied to consumption-based cloud and software services.
