As part of our strategic initiative to build a robust Digital Product Passport (DPP) within CLO-SET, we would like to hire an intern to support research, modeling, and validation of Digital Product Passport components. This role is critical to accelerating our MVP development and ensuring our footprint calculators (carbon, energy, water) are backed by credible data and aligned with global standards.
Responsibilities Conduct literature reviews and benchmarking on ESG accounting methodologies (carbon, energy, and water footprinting).Collect and analyze peer-reviewed data to support environmental footprint calculations.Compare international standards and frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol, ISO 14040, EU sustainability directives) to validate modeling assumptions.Identify credible data sources, and activity datasets for environmental impact analysis.Support the development and testing of Carbon Footprint calculation models.Assist in validating model outputs and gathering feedback from internal teams or external partners.Research how brands manage traceability and sustainability certifications (e.g., GOTS, BCI) across their supply chains.Document research findings, modeling logic, and recommendations for internal presentations and reports. Qualification Bachelor’s degree (3–4 years) or equivalent degree required.Preference to sustainability courses Preferred Skills & Knowledge Strong desk research & reasoning skills.Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.Proficient in G-suits.Curiosity for climate/sustainability.Self-driven to learn and use new technologies for problem-solving.
