Clinical Laboratory Associate (CLA)

📋 Description

• On-site CLA role in Union City or Menlo Park; relocation to Austin
• Handle pre-analytical steps: specimen receipt, accessioning, plasma/buffy coat prep
• Perform quality assurance procedures and document actions
• Maintain equipment and calibrate per SOPs
• Clean labware, prepare reagents, and maintain records
• Communicate with coworkers; report quality/safety concerns to leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in biology or related life sciences
• Excellent attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Nice-to-have: Biophysics, molecular biology (DNA purification, PCR, electrophoresis) or NGS lab experience
• Nice-to-have: 6+ months of molecular biology techniques
