Clinical Genomics Scientist, Oncology (Part-Time Contractor)

📋 Description

• Part-time remote Clinical Genomics Scientist, Oncology (10-20 hrs/wk)
• Perform somatic variant interpretation and data review
• Draft clinical reports using in-house reporting API
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and lab directors on reports
• Contribute to gene-level content curation and oncology R&D
• 1+ year minimum commitment, remote-based role

🎯 Requirements

• Ph.D. in Human Genetics or MS in Genetic Counseling, or related field
• 2+ years somatic variant interpretation (ACMG/AMP) in a clinical setting
• Experience with COSMIC, ClinVar, OncoKB, dbSNP, UCSC
• IGV familiarity; BAM file analysis; basic bioinformatics tools
• Knowledge of cancer somatic mutations and signaling pathways
• Strong attention to detail; adept at SOPs and organization
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration
