Compensation: Competitive salary in $USD , based on experience
Modality: On-Site (office in Alajuela near the airport)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
What you’ll be doing
Managing a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls related to trailer registration and title processing
Assisting customers, partners, and dealership personnel over the phone with completing title and registration paperwork
Guiding callers through title, and documentation requirements for various states
Submitting legal transfer documents to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) after verifying all required information
Confirming payment and fund collection prior to initiating title release or application processing
Reviewing and verifying title application accuracy during phone conversations to ensure all required information is complete and compliant
Troubleshooting common title-related issues over the phone, including incorrect assignments, missing documentation, or power of attorney questions
Documenting and recording incoming title documents and communicating updates to customers via phone or email
Maintaining a professional and composed tone during calls with customers or partners
Staying current on state-specific title regulations and sharing information with callers and internal teams
Participating in cross-training to support teammates
Performing other phone-based or title-related tasks as assigned
What you have:
High School diploma or equivalent – college degree preferred
Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or financial institutions
Previous office experience
Excellent typing skills and ability to take notes
Must be detail oriented, analytical, and process-driven
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, and correspondence.
Ability to write correspondence and emails
Ability to effectively communicate information over the phone in one-on-one and small group situations with customers, clients, and coworkers
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak clearly and professionally before groups of customers or employees of the organization
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variables where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
