Senior Software Engineer - Database Integrations at ClickHouse
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement robust database integrations for ClickHouse. You will work on connector development, data ingestion, and performance optimization in a distributed, high-availability environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain database integration connectors (SQL/NoSQL) for ClickHouse
- Partner with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable data ingestion
- Optimize data ingestion pipelines for throughput and latency
- Review code, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architectural decisions
- Ensure quality through testing, monitoring, and observability
Qualifications
- Strong experience in C++ and distributed systems
- Experience with data integration, ETL, or database connectors
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts
- Familiarity with Linux, performance profiling, and debugging
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to have: experience with ClickHouse internals, Arrow, or multi-node replication
