Own hiring plan and run full hiring loop for CLI/Local Experience roles.
Drive technical strategy via RFCs, design reviews, and delivery.
Contribute to TypeScript implementation with focus on architecture and reliability.
Ensure code quality, test coverage, release readiness, and compatibility.
Unblock engineers day to day and improve workflow and delivery in Linear.

🎯 Requirements

5+ years of software engineering, with CLI tooling experience.
Strong TypeScript experience and production-grade CLI tooling.
Experience leading engineers with people management in distributed async env.
Deep cross-platform knowledge (macOS/Linux/Windows) and terminal UX.
Design intuitive CLIs with clear commands and actionable errors.
Testing strategy for CLIs (unit/integration/e2e) and CI/CD pipelines.
