As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing system performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives across our mining facilities. You’ll be responsible for identifying reliability risks, analyzing equipment failures, and implementing corrective actions. Your work will span thermal management (air and liquid), acoustics, control systems, and root cause investigations, often collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities Conduct CFD and airflow evaluations to optimize thermal performance of mining infrastructureLeverage hydrodynamics and liquid cooling expertise to support immersion and direct-to-chip cooling systemsTroubleshoot and improve control systems for critical infrastructure and equipmentEvaluate and mitigate acoustic and noise-related issues through audio dynamics studiesCoordinate with internal teams and manage third-party technical vendors on reliability-related initiativesLead or support SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Reports) and apply 8D problem solving methodologiesPerform in-depth failure analysis of equipment and infrastructure componentsDevelop and track corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA)Support process improvement and reliability projects with a manufacturing mindsetAdditional Duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or a related field3+ years of experience in reliability, maintenance, or systems engineering (data center, manufacturing, or crypto mining environment preferred)Proven experience in thermal management systems and liquid cooling technologiesFamiliarity with CFD tools and acoustic measurement techniquesHands-on experience with controls systems diagnostics (e.g., PLCs, BMS)Strong problem-solving skills with knowledge of 8D, FMEA, RCA methodologiesExcellent communication skills for cross-functional and external stakeholder engagementBackground in manufacturing environments or process reliability is a strong plus
