Claim Specialist III (Florida)

📋 Description

• Communicates with insureds, injured workers, agents, and others to determine coverage and exposure.
• Administers timely, accurate indemnity and medical benefits.
• Evaluates claim exposure, negotiates and resolves claims; works with defense counsel as needed.
• Develops litigation plan with defense counsel and tracks adherence to plan.
• Visits insureds and employees to facilitate partnership in claims handling.
• Maintains quality claim files per best practices and procedures.

🎯 Requirements

• Three years of workers’ compensation lost time claim handling experience required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel and Image Right preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal/written communication.
