Claim Specialist III

📋 Description

• Communicates with insureds, injured workers, and agents to determine coverage.
• Administers timely indemnity and medical benefits.
• Evaluates claim exposure and negotiates to resolve claims.
• Works with defense counsel on litigated cases and mediations.
• Maintains quality claim files in line with best practices.
• Travels across states as needed and participates in training to stay current.

🎯 Requirements

• Three years of workers' compensation lost time claim handling experience.
• CT, MA and RI claims experience required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel and ImageRight.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
