Civil Project Engineer I - Internal NLE candidates only

📋 Description

• Design and manage concurrent projects; lead site review and entitlement path.
• Apply Value Stream Map to advance design and entitlement.
• Onboard surveyors and consultants; manage scheduling, KPI, QC.
• Coordinate with state agencies, towns, and stakeholders; present to boards.
• Develop standard details, notes, specifications and SOPs.
• Review design drawings by internal or external designers.
• Prepare civil components of IPP bid sets for bidding.
• Respond to bidder questions; participate in due diligence calls.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil engineering.
• On track to Civil P.E. license.
• 4–8 years in site development, entitlement, and environmental permitting.
• Solar PV or energy storage experience.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D and HYDROCAD proficiency.
• Experience in cost estimation, reviewing contracts, managing subconsultants, and scheduling.
• Able to communicate design concepts and lead meetings with clients, regulators, and consultants.
