About the role
Analyst - Media Intelligence - German speaking (m-w-d) at Cision in Frankfurt, Germany. This hybrid role sits within the GINS - Global Insights team and focuses on monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on media coverage across the EMEA region to support communications and business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, collect, and analyze media mentions from multiple sources.
- Compile data on reach, sentiment, share of voice, and other relevant metrics.
- Prepare regular insights reports and ad-hoc briefings for stakeholders, collaborating with the GINS team and cross-functional partners.
- Ensure data quality and contribute to process improvements within the Insights function.
- Engage with German-language content and stakeholders to translate data into actionable recommendations.
Requirements
- German language proficiency with strong English skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Market Research, Data Science, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in media monitoring, market research, analytics, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to present insights clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with data visualization concepts. Knowledge of media landscape in the EMEA region is a plus.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
