What you’ll do

⦁ Lead, mentor, and grow a cross-functional engineering team of 7, providing clarity and direction

⦁ Stay hands-on with the codebase when needed, setting the tone for technical excellence and supporting the team directly.

⦁ Partner closely with Product, Design, and senior stakeholders to deliver impactful, customer-facing features.

⦁ Drive technical decisions in collaboration with senior engineers and tech leads.

⦁ Build and scale the team through hiring, onboarding, and ongoing performance management.

⦁ Foster a culture of energy, motivation, and pragmatic problem-solving.

What you bring

⦁ 5–7+ years of hands-on software development experience, including 2–3+ years as an Engineering Manager.

⦁ Proven track record leading cross-functional teams (preferably customer-facing e-commerce teams)

⦁ Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate.

⦁ A positive, pragmatic mindset with a focus on outcomes.

⦁ Hands-on experience with modern AI tooling and paradigms.

Nice to have

⦁ Familiarity with frontend development (ReactJS) and mobile development (Flutter).

⦁ Background in platform engineering or developer tooling.

⦁ Contributions to open source or speaking at technical conferences.

Backend: NodeJS, TypeScript, NestJS framework, GraphQL, AWS DynamoDB, PostgreSQL.

Frontend: React, TypeScript, micro frontends, Jest, Styled Components.

Mobile: Kotlin, Swift, GraphQL with AppSync.

Infrastructure: Hybrid model with AWS serverless (SNS, SQS, Lambda, AppSync), containerized architecture (EKS/Kubernetes), AWS CDK, and Helm.
