- Lead facility design and architecture for an airbreathing propulsion test facility.
- Oversee conceptual and detailed facility design (air plant, test cells, airflow, instrumentation, data acquisition, safety, infrastructure).
- Translate test objectives into engineering specifications for propulsion systems.
- Program and technical leadership: act as principal engineering authority across phases; manage cross-functional teams; coordinate with contractors and stakeholders; support acquisition strategies and oversight.
- Liaise with government and test customers and internal leaders; communicate progress and align priorities.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks; implement QA across engineering and construction.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years in propulsion test facility design/development or aerospace infra.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance (TS preferred).
