Checkr is hiring a Lead Customer Solutions Engineer to guide mortgage lenders through the implementation of Checkr's background check solutions. This role combines technical architecture, customer success, and strategic leadership to help clients in the mortgage domain.
Role overview
As a Lead Customer Solutions Engineer, you will own the technical success of mortgage-related deployments, design end-to-end integration solutions with Checkr’s APIs, and lead a team of engineers to deliver high-impact outcomes for mortgage lenders and related workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical engagements with mortgage customers to understand requirements and map them to Checkr’s API and data capabilities.
- Architect and implement end-to-end integrations with loan origination systems, CRM, and borrower data sources.
- Provide guidance on data mapping, security, privacy, and compliance considerations relevant to mortgage processes.
- Develop integration templates, demos, and proofs of concept to accelerate customer adoption.
- Collaborate with Product and Support teams to translate customer feedback into product improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers on technical solutions, debugging, and best practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, customer engineering, or related roles in a SaaS environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with API integrations, data mapping, and modern cloud architectures.
- Proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Experience in mortgage domain or financial services is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
