Role Overview

Check is seeking a Risk Analyst to join our Risk team in San Francisco or Remote. The successful candidate will analyze risk indicators, perform data-driven analysis, and help build scalable risk controls across our platform. You will collaborate with product, analytics, engineering, and compliance to identify, measure, and mitigate risk exposure.

Responsibilities

Monitor risk exposures across products and processes
Analyze large data sets using SQL and Python
Develop and maintain risk models and dashboards
Support regulatory reporting and internal risk controls
Communicate findings to cross-functional teams and leadership

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in risk analysis, data analysis, or related field
Proficiency in SQL; experience in Python or R is a plus
Strong Excel and data visualization skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
