Role Overview
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Specialist to become a key member of our finance team. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment where your contributions will directly impact the success of a growing organization.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and process weekly payroll for employees.
Review and verify payroll for accuracy.
Coordinate wage discrepancies and pay changes with management.
Track and deductions garnishments and other special payroll deductions.
Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Administer benefits and deductions, including retirement plans and union agreements.
Generate and distribute payroll reports for management.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll issues.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of payroll experience in professional services, multi-entity company preferred
Proficiency in ADP, Workday, Microsoft Office systems
Strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Management, or related field preferred.
Salary range is $50,000 to $58,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
