Role Overview

We seek a Marketing Manager who can operate across a broad spectrum of activity, from marketing campaign strategy and execution to sponsorship management, public relations, and more. The ideal candidate will be a highly collaborative, creative individual who thrives on connecting dots and is comfortable with a roll-up-your-sleeves, get-it-done approach. This role will report to the Senior Vice President for Strategic Positioning and be a driving force in raising Jarrard’s visibility in the market, building high-impact relationships with the leading voices in healthcare, and working across the spectrum from brand to demand in developing effective marketing campaigns.


The ideal candidate thrives on creating programs from scratch and having end-to-end stewardship of the work. This individual will have experience across all elements of the marketing mix and thrives on opportunities to collaborate with the team to innovate, learn, and develop world-class marketing programs.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Integrated marketing campaigns – develop, execute, and measure integrated marketing campaigns spanning messaging, content, digital channels, paid media, social, and engaging with other internal and external resources as appropriate in execution.

  • Social media management – develop, implement and manage Jarrard’s social media channels and manage the monthly content calendar, ensuring content aligns with brand and business objectives, as well as:

  • Plan and post engaging content to drive brand awareness, engage followers and/or encourage desired actions

  • Work with our Creative team to create marketing materials to support organic and paid initiatives

  • Collaborate with firm leadership on their executive social visibility

  • Identify trends and recommendations based on performance analytics

  • Marketing/channel management – play an integral role in helping us optimize current and define the next set of marketing channels, technologies, and programs to achieve our business and brand goals, including:

  • Paid search and social including managing paid advertising strategies to increase website traffic and reach potential customers

  • Email campaigns including designing audience-specific campaigns and coordinating content and campaign with marketing automation tools

  • Website content and user experience including SEO, landing page development and web integration with lead generation

  • Podcast promotion including social media content development, video teasers, internal communications and tracking

  • Marketing collateral including social media graphics, email newsletters, one pagers, etc.

  • Stakeholder and colleague engagement – develop collaborative relationships across the organization to build understanding of market issues/opportunities and buyer personas.

Qualifications and Desired Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in brand, marketing or communications; ideally in consulting or professional services; experience in the healthcare environment preferred but not required. PR agency experience preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Advertising, Journalism or Communications or similar

  • Ability to translate strategy into plans, and plans into execution, from content creation through measurement

  • Strong business acumen to learn our business, our buyers’ issues, and the capabilities we bring to solve them

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables effectively, with expert attention to detail, under deadline

  • Experience working with Hubspot and Wordpress a plus

  • Creative problem solver, flexible and resourceful

  • Enjoys working with a team and can also accomplish action independently

Salary range: $93,000-$105,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
