Role Overview
Jarrard is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive team member to support the execution of business development, consulting operations, and firm-wide initiatives. This internal, firm-focused role is designed to help build operational infrastructure as the firm continues to expand its impact on the healthcare industry, while providing hands-on experience across multiple strategic functions.
Working with the Jarrard Growth Team and reporting directly to the Vice President of Business Development Operations and Chief of Staff, this individual will contribute to high-impact projects, internal process improvements, and knowledge management efforts.
Responsibilities
Consulting Operations
Support Jarrard leadership to make progress against firm priorities and collaborate with firm resources to deliver results.
Help plan and execute internal meetings and events (e.g., weekly, quarterly and annual meetings).
Support strategic initiatives and special projects under Jarrard leadership (e.g., AI adoption).
Assist in refining internal processes for knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.
Collaborate on the design of education and training content tailored to firm professional development needs.
Guide client teams in applying best practices for client engagements (i.e. kick-off, pause-and-learn, and project close outs).
Business Development Operations
Assist in organizing and managing high-profile strategic pursuits alongside the VP of BD Ops/Chief of Staff and consulting leadership.
Support planning, content creation and execution of large-scale BD opportunities such as speaking engagements and channel partnerships.
Contribute to day-to-day business development efforts including development of pitch decks, proposal writing, and ad hoc support.
Help maintain and evolve BD support resources for firm leaders.
Maintain the Jarrard proposal library and ensure accurate tracking of institutional knowledge.
Qualifications and Desired Skills
3-5 years of experience working in a professional services or consulting environment
Bachelor’s degree required
Strong project management experience, comfortable managing and prioritizing under tight timelines
Ability to rapidly learn and synthesize new knowledge and insights
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; Ability to synthesize content and communicate in concise, informative written communications
Exceptional client service orientation - highly responsive and willing to go the extra mile
Advanced capabilities in MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Familiarity with Copilot and ChatGPT
A flexible self-starter: able to manage multiple projects and processes while remaining extremely detail oriented
Eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Interest in building a career in operations, consulting support, or business development.
Salary range: $72,000-$77,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs. In addition, Jarrard offers several benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, disability insurance, life insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, wellness stipend, and additional voluntary benefits.
