Chartis is seeking an experienced Epic Implementation Engagement Manager to join our Revenue Cycle Practice. Engagement Managers are integral members of our consulting teams, leading healthcare provider clients in the full spectrum of revenue cycle-related Epic projects.
Qualified candidates will have deep expertise across the revenue cycle, spanning patient access, mid-cycle, and back-office workflows. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and ensuring the successful delivery of Epic implementations across the revenue cycle applications.
As a client-facing leader, you will manage cross-functional teams, advise stakeholders at all levels, and ensure Epic solutions are aligned with operational goals, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
This is a remote position with regular client travel.
Project and Engagement Leadership
Lead full life-cycle Epic revenue cycle implementations, from planning and design through build, testing, training, and go-live support.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders throughout the engagement.
Define and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
Drive decision-making and issue resolution across clinical, financial, and operational domains.
Revenue Cycle Expertise
Provide strategic guidance and workflow redesign across all phases of the revenue cycle (front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end).
Ensure Epic system build supports revenue integrity, compliance, financial sustainability, and patient satisfaction.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with executive sponsors, operational leaders, and front-line staff to drive adoption and change management.
Collaborate with build teams and technical staff to ensure system configuration aligns with end-user workflows and regulatory requirements.
Deliver executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Team Oversight and Coaching
Lead matrixed teams of System Specialists and Business Process Consultants.
Mentor junior colleagues and provide coaching to enhance team development and client impact.
5+ years of experience leading Epic revenue cycle projects, including 3+ years in end-to-end Epic implementations.
Epic certification(s) in relevant revenue cycle modules such as Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, Claims, Cadence/Prelude, etc.
Demonstrated success managing large-scale Epic revenue cycle implementations, with proven ability to deliver on-time and within budget.
Strong knowledge of Epic’s revenue cycle roadmap and integration points with clinical, financial, and digital front-door systems.
Experience guiding clients through readiness assessments, testing strategy, go-live planning, and stabilization.
Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical details into operational implications for leaders.
Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and risk management skills.
Adaptability to dynamic project scopes, client priorities, and organizational goals.
Salary range: $150,000-$200,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
