Role Overview
Chartis is looking for a driven, dynamic, organized, and collaborative Talent Development Associate to join its People Team, supporting the execution of firmwide talent development initiatives.
The Talent Development Associate plays a key role in managing essential talent processes and ensuring the smooth operation of our Workday talent ecosystem. Working closely with Talent Development Leads, this role supports the execution of performance management cycles, onboarding and offboarding activities, and ongoing system administration to enable a consistent and high-quality colleague experience. By maintaining accurate data, troubleshooting system issues, preparing materials, and managing talent-related inquiries, the Associate helps ensure that talent workflows run efficiently and reliably. In a consulting environment where strong talent operations underpin both project success and colleague development, this role strengthens the firm’s ability to deploy and develop talent effectively and empowers individuals and teams to focus on delivering exceptional client outcomes.
Responsibilities
Serve as a Workday Talent Administrator, overseeing day-to-day and cyclical talent processes within the platform; complete ad hoc and recurring tasks, maintain data accuracy, and troubleshoot system issues to ensure smooth execution of talent development programs and workflows.
Manage the assigned aspects of the firm’s performance management processes (e.g., project-based feedback, 90-day reviews, semi-annual reviews) including, preparing data files, maintaining system configurations, providing ad hoc technical support and creating support materials, and coordinating system updates within Workday.
Assist with talent development related aspects of onboarding and offboarding including requesting new hire biographies, coordinating onboarding liaisons, updating internal systems to ensure colleague data is accurately reflected.
Manage and triage inbound requests to the talent development inbox
Maintain talent development resources on the firm’s internal website
Collaborate on special projects as needed within the talent development function
Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues throughout the firm
Qualifications and Desired Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in HR operations, resource management, or administrative support – ideally within a consulting, professional services, or project-based environment.
Experience with Workday and strong Excel skills.
Exceptional organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and diligent follow-through
Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Outstanding client service orientation – highly responsive and willing to go the extra mile
Highly collaborative, with a strong team orientation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and with senior stakeholders
Ability and desire to learn new technologies through hands on experience
Ability to travel occasionally to firm meetings and learning programs
Salary range: $72,000-$96,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
