What You Will Be Doing

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Integrations team, you will help architect and maintain mission-critical systems supporting our global fleet customers operating 10,000 vehicles across multiplecontinents. In this role, you will:

•

Design and implement robust API integrations with third-party providers while developing our proprietary APIs

•

Build cutting-edge software solutions for real-time data processing and analytics

•

Collaborate with international engineering teams in Amsterdam and India to deliver scalable,high-performance systems

•

Drive technical decisions that enable seamless communication and data exchange across theChargePoint Fleet Platform ecosystem

Our integrations process thousands of messages daily, providing vital insights and capabilities to fleet operators worldwide. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of clean technology and enterprise software, helping to shape the future of electric transportation.As we expand our presence in India, this position presents significant growth potential for those interested in technical leadership. You'll play a key role in building and mentoring our Indian engineering team while maintaining strong collaboration with our Amsterdam hub.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

Software Development & Integration:

• Designing and implementing scalable solutions using Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Gradle

• Managing and rewriting existing integrations built in Node.js/Python

• Developing robust data pipelines using Kafka and REST/gRPC APIs

• Balance technical excellence with pragmatic solutions to deliver business value

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborating with Amsterdam-based teams to align on project goals, architecture, and

delivery timelines

• Driving clear communication and seamless collaboration across geographies

Infrastructure & Deployment:

• Leveraging GitOps, Kubernetes, and other tools to streamline deployment and

infrastructure management

Documentation and Troubleshooting:

• Producing clear, comprehensive technical documentation

• Diagnosing and resolving complex software issues

• Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions

Architecture and Strategy:

• Participating in architectural discussions, bringing forward innovative ideas, and

constructively challenging others’ proposals

• Driving the adoption of best practices and modern engineering approaches

Requirements
