What You Will Be DoingAs part of our team, you will work on developing and implementing roaming solutions that enable seamless communication between different electric vehicle (EV) charging networks.Youwill help ensure our customers can access a growing network of charging stations, regardless of the provider, creating a unified and convenient charging experience. In this role,youwill focus on building connections between various networks to make eMobility more accessible and user-friendly worldwide. Ifyou have experience with Kotlin and/or PHP and enjoy building RESTful APIs, then you are the right fit for us!
Responsibilities
- Architect flexible and scalable systems to meet evolving business needs.
- Contribute thoughtful, respectful, and impactful feedback during code reviews and design discussions.
- Dive into unfamiliar codebases, decipher their purpose, enhance them, and ensure proper documentation.
- Mentor junior developers, strengthening the team with your guidance and expertise.
- Rigorously test code, ensuring correctness and minimizing regressions.
- Identify complex problems, propose solutions, and collaborate across teams to implement them effectively.
- 5 or more years of experience building backend software, preferably with Kotlin or PHP.
- You have hands on experience with React or Vue.js.
- Youapply computer science algorithms and data structures effectively in your work.
- Experience of building RESTful APIs for seamless client-server communication.
- Youprioritize clean, readable, and maintainable code.
- Youare familiar with source code management using Git.
- Comfortable navigating and using the *NIX command line.
- Youcan work autonomously while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- A willingness to learn new technologies to stay at the cutting edge of development.
- Strong English communication skills; German skills are a bonus.
