  • Own and manage Gusto’s ecosystem partnerships across VC firms and accelerators.
  • Define and maintain a partner portfolio; decide 1:1 vs scaled engagement.
  • Build repeatable, programmatic partnership motions (cohorts, education, integrations).
  • Serve as Tier 1 contact for core high-impact ecosystem partners.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Events to design scalable programs.
  • Track ecosystem impact using metrics like ARR, pipeline, and founder reach.

🎯 Requirements

  • 5+ years in partnerships, ecosystem development, venture programs, or adjacent roles
  • Deep familiarity with the startup ecosystem, including founders, operators, investors, or accelerators
  • Experience building scalable, high-impact partnerships
  • Strong judgment on where to invest time and when to say not now
  • Comfort working cross-functional and influencing without direct authority
  • Ability to translate ambiguous inputs into clear strategy and execution plans
