Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT), Full-Time

📋 Description

• Perform venous and capillary blood draws for patients of all ages
• Verify patient identity and orders before collection
• Prepare patients and ensure comfort during collection
• Label, process, and prepare specimens for transport
• Document collections and results in EHR/LIS
• Maintain efficient patient flow and coordinate with staff

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Accredited phlebotomy training program completed
• Active California CPT I or CPT II license required
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Knowledge of venipuncture techniques and lab regulations (CDPH, CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA)
• Proficiency with EHR and basic computer skills
