Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping analytics and data products that drive strategic decision-making and business performance and optimization across multiple internal business units. You will work hands-on with new product features, sometimes even before they are publicly released, and help push the boundaries of data analytics capabilities to create valuable and impactful solutions.

In this role, you will develop a strong understanding of business needs in a fast-paced and evolving environment, using data to provide meaningful insights and accurate interpretations. You will build scalable and sustainable data tools to ensure that the right insights reach stakeholders at all levels, helping drive efficiency, growth, and strategic decisions.

You will collaborate closely with other analytics and system teams, Go-to-Market business managers, Strategy & Operations teams, and Product Managers becoming a trusted partner in leveraging data-driven strategies. This is a unique opportunity to develop technical, analytical, and business skills while contributing to the company's data-driven transformation.

This position is Madrid based.

The work you’ll do:

• Gather, process, and analyze business data using company technology, ensuring data is structured to support business goals, needs, and opportunities.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular data quality checks, validation processes, troubleshooting and enhancements  to maintain reliable datasets.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using process mining and business intelligence tools to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze business data to provide actionable insights and recommendations that drive better business outcomes.
• Enable Go-to-Market teams to effectively use analytics tools by bridging the gap between data metrics and business meaning, ensuring informed decision-making.
• Collaborate on internal projects to improve data ingestion, data quality, model building, tool creation, and enablement, making data solutions more efficient, effective, and valuable for the organization

The qualifications you need:

• Completed your studies in Data Science, Engineering, mathematics, statistics or a comparable degree program with outstanding performance
• 3+ Experience in working with data ingestion, data transformations, databases and BI solutions to analyze and visualize business insights and ideally have experience applying this in a SaaS business context and typical SaaS metrics and processes
• Proven work experience in writing performing queries in SQL
  and optimized and efficient code in Python for data extraction, transformation and automation. 
• Working experience in the enterprise software industry would be a plus.
• Think analytically, work in a structured manner, and quickly comprehend new topics and complex interrelationships to present and explain them to our stakeholders in a reliable and independent manner.
• Manages stakeholder relationships, facilitating alignment and prioritization of initiatives through a collaborative, communicative, and open environment that promotes teamwork towards shared objectives.
• Backbone and strong sense of ownership to navigate competing priorities effectively. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to discern where focus is required amidst various demands and drive projects forward with determination. Demonstrated capability in managing complex tasks, prioritizing effectively, and maintaining accountability will be essential for success in this role.
• Effective communication skills and proactiveness to bridge the gap between technical data language and business objectives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enabling our business and internal stakeholders by effectively communicating insights, facilitating engagement, and driving effectiveness through our tools and processes. Strong initiative, coupled with a keen understanding of business needs, will be essential for maximizing engagement and impact.
