Senior Website Performance Manager - Celigo

Celigo is seeking a Senior Website Performance Manager to own the end-to-end performance of Celigo's web properties. This role is based in the United States (on-site) and focuses on measuring, optimizing, and maintaining fast, reliable, and scalable web experiences that drive user engagement and conversions.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own performance metrics and targets for Celigo’s websites
  • Build and maintain a robust measurement framework (real user monitoring, synthetic monitoring, analytics)
  • Lead load testing, performance profiling, and optimization initiatives across frontend and backend
  • Architect and optimize caching, CDN configurations, and resource loading strategies
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to prioritize performance work
  • Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for performance-related outages
  • Drive data-driven optimization through A/B testing and analytics insights
  • Mentor teammates and evangelize best practices for performance across teams

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of website performance engineering, SRE, or related field
  • Hands-on experience with performance tools (Lighthouse, WebPageTest, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of CDN, caching strategies, and web performance optimization
  • Experience with analytics platforms (Google Analytics 4, etc.) and data-driven decision making
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to work across product, design, and engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
