The Senior Technical Project Manager at Celigo is responsible for leading and elevating the successful delivery of complex integration projects leveraging the Celigo platform. This role combines strategic project leadership with strong technical acumen in integration technologies and methodologies.You will lead cross-functional teams through all phases of the project lifecycle—scoping, planning, execution, and delivery—ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and exceed customer expectations.This position requires deep expertise in technical project management, integration principles, and a proven track record in delivering scalable, high-quality integration solutions for enterprise customers and driving Celigo platform adoption.
What would you do, if hired? Project Leadership & Strategy
- Lead end-to-end delivery of integration and automation projects using Agile or hybrid methodologies.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to ensure seamless handoff and clear understanding of customer goals and project scope.
- Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Align staffing and resource plans with project deliverables and budgets, efficiently managing onshore and offshore resources.
Execution & Delivery Management
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional technical teams, ensuring timely task completion and quality assurance.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and proactively identify and resolve risks, issues, or scope changes.
- Conduct regular status and steering committee meetings with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Manage changes in scope, schedule, or budget while maintaining proper documentation and stakeholder agreement.
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between business and technical stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into actionable technical deliverables and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee the technical integrity and quality of delivered solutions, ensuring alignment with Celigo's best practices and integration standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Effectively communicate project updates, milestones, and risks.
- Proactively address stakeholder concerns and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Operations & Process Improvement
- Ensure timely and consistent entry of project time by team members, and ensure prompt approval of project time entries by coordinating with the project team.
- Assists with resource scheduling, managing across multiple projects and priorities.
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous process improvement within the delivery organization.
- Mentor and coach junior project managers on delivery best practices, stakeholder management, and technical project execution.
- Drive consistency in delivery methodologies and promote a culture of excellence and accountability.
Who are we looking for? Skills & Abilities
- Experience working with external clients and handling a variety of different projects simultaneously; capability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage challenging customers' complex project scopes and challenging timelines.
- Have a good understanding of integration technologies and iPaaS solutions (experience with Celigo, MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, or similar platforms a plus).
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, authentication standards (OAuth, SAML), and middleware integration patterns is preferred.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in project or delivery management, including substantial exposure to integration or SaaS implementation projects.
- Prior experience in SaaS / On-Demand, CRM/ERP applications is preferred.
Celigo reasonably expects to pay a base salary between $125,000 and $150,000 per year for this position. Actual starting base pay will be determined by skills, experience, geographic location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, benefits, or other perks as outlined in any formal employment offer made.
