Job Overview

The Human Resource Generalist will partner with teams across Celigo to administer HR programs, support day-to-day operations, and help deliver an exceptional employee experience from hiring to offboarding. This on-site role is based in Redwood City, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Administer HR policies and programs ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Support full-cycle recruiting: posting roles, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating offers.
  • Coordinate onboarding for new hires and offboarding for departing employees.
  • Administer benefits programs, assist with open enrollment, and respond to employee inquiries.
  • Maintain HRIS data accuracy, generate routine reports, and audit employee records.
  • Support employee relations, performance management processes, and policy development.
  • Assist with payroll coordination in collaboration with the payroll provider.
  • Coordinate training and development activities and maintain training records.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and maintain high standards of confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-5 years of HR experience in a generalist role.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, ADP) and HR metrics.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with U.S. employment laws and compliance requirements.
