Category Manager - Technology & Corporate Services Procurement

📋 Description

• Define and drive category strategies for IT hardware/software/telecom and corporate services.
• Lead sourcing initiatives: RFP/RFQ, evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate contracts.
• Manage supplier relationships, offshore resources, and ensure value and risk mitigation.
• Mentor and develop Sourcing Specialists; lead procurement team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from managers to executives; influence decisions.
• Balance urgent business needs with long-term goals and favorable terms.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, SCM, finance, or related.
• 7+ years in strategic sourcing/procurement with indirect focus.
• Experience in IT software licensing and tech contracts.
• Strong data analysis, spend and TCO modeling.
• Familiar with SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle; advanced Excel.
• Excellent negotiation, contract drafting, and risk management.
