Cash Application Specialist

📋 Description

• Process and post customer payments (checks, ACH, wire, cards).
• Match payments to invoices and resolve discrepancies or unapplied cash.
• Maintain accurate records of cash receipts and account adjustments.
• Collaborate with collections, sales, and customer service to resolve issues.
• Perform daily reconciliations and prepare cash application reports.
• Investigate and resolve short payments, misapplied funds, and deductions.

🎯 Requirements

• 2-3+ years in cash application or accounts receivable.
• Salesforce and NetSuite experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Excel proficiency; VLOOKUP, pivot tables preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field preferred.
