Carta is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join the Finance team in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This on-site role focuses on managing daily accounts receivable processes, invoicing, collections, and supporting month-end close activities.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and cash application
Monitor AR aging and drive collections with customers
Process payments, reconcile AR accounts, and resolve discrepancies
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Customer Success to ensure accurate billing and customer records
Assist with month-end close and preparation of AR reports and metrics
Support internal and external audits related to accounts receivable

Requirements

2+ years of accounts receivable or related accounting experience
Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Portuguese required; English proficiency is a plus
