Principal Product Manager, Data

Overview

Caring.com is seeking a Principal Product Manager, Data to lead the strategy and execution of data products that empower families to make informed care decisions. This remote U.S. role collaborates with data engineering, data science, analytics, and product teams to define vision, roadmaps, metrics, and outcomes for data platforms, dashboards, and analytics capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define the data product strategy and roadmap in alignment with company goals.
• Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders across care, engineering, and analytics.
• Write PRDs and API/data interface specifications; own success criteria and metrics.
• Partner with data engineering and data science to deliver scalable data products.
• Measure adoption, usage, and impact; iterate based on feedback.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience, with a track record of delivering data-oriented products.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and analytics.
• Familiarity with data platforms, dashboards, data models, and analytics workflows is preferred.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment.
