Sea Cargo Operator

As a Sea Cargo Operator in our Piraeus office, you will be the driving force ensuring every detail of the sea freight process is managed efficiently and professionally. Your expertise will coordinate complex logistics, connect partners across borders, and ensure customer expectations are exceeded.

Key responsibilities:

Own the daily planning, organization, and execution of sea freight import and export operations

Manage shipments end to end, including file creation, tracking, documentation, and invoicing

Serve as the key contact between customers, carriers, internal teams, and international partners to keep shipments sailing smoothly

Prepare and submit all necessary customs and shipping documents

Develop accurate transport offers and quotations tailored to client needs

Monitor shipments closely and provide timely updates to clients

Drive customer satisfaction by proactively resolving issues and optimizing processes

Identify opportunities to boost efficiency and reduce costs

Your background should be;

Minimum 18 months years’ hands-on experience in sea freight forwarding

Deep knowledge of shipping terms, Incoterms, customs procedures, and export documentation

Fluent in Greek and English with strong communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook

Detail oriented, responsible, and committed to delivering quality service

Skilled at juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Proactive problem solver with a can-do attitude
