The National Finance Manager is responsible for leading all financial and administrative activities for cargo-partner Greece. This role ensures full compliance with IFRS and Group reporting standards, delivers accurate and timely financial results, and acts as a strategic partner to the Country Manager to support business performance and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Oversee all local accounting and finance operations, ensuring compliance with IFRS, local statutory, and cargo-partner Group reporting requirements.Manage monthly closing, reconciliations, and preparation of management accounts in SAP.Drive cost controlling and analysis of operational and overhead expenditure, providing actionable insights.Lead cash flow management, including collections, payments, and forecasting.Support annual budgeting and forecasting in coordination with the Regional Finance team.Manage external and internal audit processes ensuring transparency and governance. Business Partnering & Commercial Support Partner closely with the Managing Director to provide financial insights and analysis on sales performance, margins, and profitability.Support management in identifying cost efficiencies, performance improvement areas, and growth opportunities.Contribute to strategic planning and performance tracking for the Greek operation. Administration, Legal & Quality Oversee administration and office management activities, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.Manage insurance and claim processes, coordinating with Group functions as required.Support the Country Manager on local legal and compliance matters, liaising with Group Legal and external advisors.Lead and coordinate quality management activities, maintaining alignment with Cargo-Partner standards and ISO requirements. Qualifications & Experience University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in a similar finance management role within logistics, freight forwarding, or international business environments.Proven experience with IFRS reporting, SAP, and cost control processes.Sound understanding of Greek statutory, tax, and corporate regulations.Fluent in Greek and English (both written and spoken).
