Workday Financial Systems Architect

Overview

Care.com is seeking a Senior Workday Financial Systems Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of the Workday Financials platform across the organization. You will define the target architecture, drive integration strategies, and collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and implementation of Workday Financials modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Asset Management, and Payroll integration).
• Design integration patterns with external systems (ERP, HRIS, payroll providers) and ensure data quality and security.
• Define data models, security roles, business processes, and reporting strategies.
• Evaluate new Workday releases and drive upgrade planning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior architects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in ERP/Workday Financials architecture; hands-on implementation experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of Workday security, integrations, business processes, and data model.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Workday certification preferred.
• Experience with cloud-based architecture and data governance is a plus.
